I have to apologize at this point but i feel like writing this post in German. I suck at german grammar but whateevvss this is my Blog ;) Wie es der Zufall so will bin ich dieses Jahr zufälligerweise in Wien während auch die VIENNALE 2016 Stattfindet - natürlich hab ich es total verschwitzt mich als Presse zu akkreditieren (ich schreib gerade eine Mail hin! wish me luck!) Aber für gute Filme und ein um solches Festival zu unterstützen habe ich natürlich kein Problem damit mit die Kinokarten auch zu kaufen. In diesem Jahr ist der große amerikanische Kultregisseur, Filmkomponist, Drehbuchautor, Produzent und Schauspieler John Carpenter Mittelpunkt einer Reihe außergewöhnlicher Veranstaltungen in Wien. John Howard Carpenter machte sich erstmals durch ein Studienprojekt an dem er beteiligt war einen Namen. Nach 4 Versuchen - über ein halbes Jahr verteilt - nahm ich am 22.04.2015 um 14:33 mein Handy in die Hand und wählte die Nummer von Stefanie Herkner . "Stefanie! HEUTE ist es soweit! Heute komme ich sofort um 17 Uhr zu dir!" - "Ach nein! mein lieber ich bin erst um 19 Uhr da" "Gut dann um 19 Uhr!!" Und um punkt 19 Uhr stand ich vor der heiligen Eingangstür des Gasthauses " Stefanie Herkner ". Meine liebe Freundin Stefanie die sich vor mehr als zwei Jahren getraut hat den Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit zu machen betreibt mit vollem Einsatz und mit viel Liebe ihr Lokal and der Wiedner Haupstraße im 4. wiener Gemeindebezirk. Nicht einmal eine volle Minute im Haus, schon höre ich Stefanies wunderbare Stimme   "Mami ?! Maaamiiee! kommst du mal bitte da stimmt etwas nicht..." Its a wrap. The Austrian Movie Awards 2015 are history. Starting with obvious favorites on to finding "Mundls" Iphone on his empty seat it was a very nice experience and i want to thank ANNA SPANLANG for giving me the opportunity -again- to be part of it! My Friend Hannah an myself attended the Austrian movie awards last wednesday at the RATHAUS in Vienna. A beautiful and better location then last year. Who ever has been tot he Rathaus will agree that its probably on of the three best locations to host a Gala. The 5th Austrian Movie Awards celebrated their "Kindergarten" birthday as the host of the evening KARL MARKOVICS described it. Humorous as always he led through the evening provoking mr Andreas Mailath-Pokorny (City councillor for cultural affairs) and confronting him to give more sponsored space to people in Film such as studios, offices etc and causing the audience to laugh no only about his kinda funny but not Joke about two goats eating the script o...

Sunday is in gerenal not my day. I feel depressed and i am all in all not satisfied with the -doesn't matter what situation i am in. Yesterday way different.  I was happy to get out of my "i has no friends" mood to - hey! life can be awesome if i let it. My dear friend Lilly and Isabella invited me to join them for a flea market stroll - it was actually a very old apartment in the 6th district. The Woman who used to live there passed away years ago and her lovely notanymore-children decided to sell basically everything left in the apartment. Here are some impressions of what the place looked like. Lilly and Isabella also had their hands full of stuff - Isi even scored a original 70s kitchen! its SO adorable!!
