One of the most progressive contemporary photographers has passed away.

Ren Hang dies at the age of 29
Hang died in Berlin on February 24th.

Belgian gallerist Dries Roelens – who runs Stieglitz19 gallery, where Ren’s work is now being exhibited – also appeared to confirm the news.

“Ren Hang, RIP, poet, photographer, magician...You were the best, the most magical.”

Dutch publication De Morgen has since alleged that the photographer killed himself, claiming that the reports had been confirmed by the photographer’s “entourage sources.”
