ASICS+ONITSUKA TIGER X BA Hetzendorf

At this years show of the BA students at the Hetzendorf fashionschool together with the university of arts Linz - the japanese shoe brand ONITSUKA TIGER  initiated a contest for all students of the second year to design their personal ideas under the theme "craft of movement".

10 designs were selected by specialized jury to go from 2D to 3D and produce the first Prototyps.
Winner of this years contest was Clarissa Fritzsche with her idea of "the gesha shoe".
(quite contemporary if you ask me).

All 10 Designs are showcased in a special exhibtion at the PAAR shoe boutique in Vienna on the 25th of June.

here are some more designs that i personally favor.

Design: Nanna Neuber

Design: Sina Burtscher

This Design by Julie Rütter for me is by far the best! combining the signature stripes of the japanese Brand and the typical "tabi" toes in the front with a very contemporary touch with the knittet fabric! #wegotawinner!
