The Maybe

As if starring in David Bowie music videos wasn't already the coolest, Tilda Swinton has currently taken up residency sleeping at MoMA. It's part of an unannounced, surprise performance piece called "The Maybe" that will be taking place on random days all year (see updated details below). A MoMA source told us, "Museum staff doesn't know she's coming until the day of, but she's here today. She'll be there the whole day. All that's in the box is cushions and a water jug."

"Tilda Swinton will be doing unannounced, random performance art pieces sleeping in a glass box in the museum," the source added. Each performance lasts the whole day the museum is open." Swinton and her box are located near the ticket collectors, but the box may be in different locations at other performances.

Update: It turns out that Swinton and the MoMA have been talking about "The Maybe" here since 2005!

All Eyes On.... PAM HOGG

I remember sitting in my room in my hometown Wels when i was about 14 years old and listening to "Siouxie and the Banshees" and looking them up in the internet - wish was more of a task as a pleasure at that time believe me. What cought my eye was the AMAZING crazy costumes Siouxie Sioux was wearing - thank god for credits - the dress was by PAM HOGG . Back then as now i was completely fascinated and attracted to/by independent strong women who frankly just don't give a fuck. So the combination of Siouxie Sioux and Pam Hogg was almost to good to be true ;) About Pam: Pam Hogg studied at the Glasgow School of Art, where she won the Newbury Medal of Distinction, the Frank Warner Memorial Medal, the Leverhulme Scholarship and the Royal Society of Arts Bursary, which subsequently took her on to further study at the Royal College of Art in London, where she gained her Masters of Art degree. Pam Hogg’s first catwalk show was with the collective ”Hyper Hyper’ in 1985....
