cutting the edge

After a very long time without notice, sorry about that, we are back.

Wanting to proof that menswear design can be different then we or the world is used. The design duo behind Duckie Brown creates a completely new look of what we understand under menswear.

And so it is no wonder that only five years after launching their own label Duckie Brown was already nominated for the CFDA`s Menswear Designer of the Year Award.
-The two other nominees are Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.

Steven Cox and Daniel Silver comprise the duo behind the Duckie Brown label. Cox is a former designer at Tommy Hilfiger; Silver is a former TV producer. Their unique vision for men's dressing that borders on 'street wear and the classic' has a very fashion forward attitude that is aspirational."

Duckie Brown's creations have also been recognised by Victoria & Albert Museum in London (V&A) as part of the museum's "New York Fashion Now" exhibition running from 17 Apr 07- 23 Sept 07

What cought my eye was the AMAZING crazy costumes Siouxie Sioux was wearing - thank god for credits - the dress was by PAM HOGG . Back then as now i was completely fascinated and attracted to/by independent strong women who frankly just don't give a fuck. So the combination of Siouxie Sioux and Pam Hogg was almost to good to be true ;) About Pam: Pam Hogg studied at the Glasgow School of Art, where she won the Newbury Medal of Distinction, the Frank Warner Memorial Medal, the Leverhulme Scholarship and the Royal Society of Arts Bursary, which subsequently took her on to further study at the Royal College of Art in London, where she gained her Masters of Art degree. Pam Hogg’s first catwalk show was with the collective ”Hyper Hyper’ in 1985....
