My favorite (Austrian) Filmfestival will take place from the 17th of March to the 22nd. This years festival edition for the last time under direction of Ms. Barbara Pichler promises a variation and some extraordinary surprises. (if one can trust the official press release) When recently enjoyed his moderation a lot at the Austrian Movie Awards at the Rathaus i am sure will do so again with his new motion picture which will star as opening film this year. ERÖFFNUNG SCHNEIDERHOF – OFFENES ATELIER FÜR MODE, FOTOGRAFIE UND WORKSHOPS Am 14. Juni 2013 öffnet der Schneiderhof in der Diehlgasse 51/1 seine Türen. Der moderne Atelierraum mit begrünter Innenhofterrasse, direkt am Hundsturm in Wiens 5. Bezirk gelegen, vereint Mode und Fotografie, Werkstatt und Galerie und ermöglicht in entspannter Workshop- Atmosphäre Einblicke in Ideenentwicklung und handwerkliche Arbeitsabläufe. Hier werden nicht nur Stoffe sondern auch Filme geschnitten, es wird skizziert, belichtet, gedruckt, genäht und abgemessen. Die beiden Modedesignerinnen Romana Zöchling und Monica Ferrari-Krieger und Fotograf Severin Koller grün- deten den Schneiderhof als moderne Manufaktur und als Ort des Austauschs. Nicht nur untereinander, sondern vor allem zwischen all jenen Interessierten, die eigene Ideen realisieren und vom Know-How der „Experten“ profitieren wollen.
