Just like the previous collection - elements of different cultures where the main inspiration for this collection. The north-african Berber people mixed with the MAORIS from new zealand left a signature mark on the pieces of the new collection ASWADIA for Autumn/Winter 2014/15. Part of this years collection are Bodychains by HANNAH WAGNER and her Label CVD-Bodychains . Last time in GOLD - this time in Silver with wooden elements. double love for that!  Black is the (non)colour of the next season combined with hallucinogenic prints - this is ASWADIA - coming from the arabic word ASWAD meaning black or very dark. "Aswadia puts together different influences and thoughts into one. Starting from the name of the collection and typical patterns rounding it up with Mark & Julia "classic" pieces."   - Julia "Aswadia has a lot of elements that are typical for the brand like clear patterns and my favourite non-colour BLACK....

When i was about 5 years old i had the best nanny ever! Her name was Gudrun (Gucki) - i can recall countless great times i had with her!  After i moved to vienna - the contact between us somehow got lost. At some point she turned up with her girlfriend at my show once about one and a half years ago and i was really happy to see her again! Anyhow - two weeks back i got an e-mail from her - Her Wedding invitation! yay! I got reminded that i haven't been invited to a lot of weddings lately. I think it was in 2011+2012 when i attended about 12 weddings (one of them in Nashville - that was fun!) Anyhow! So, what actually happened the last view days? well quite a big actually. MARK & JULIA  presented their new collection fro Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 at the STILWERK in Vienna. Presented by the NENI ART COLLECTIVE. -see pics below a view days later i was invited to the WOOD WOOD Store to take a look at the new A/W collection as well. Prosecco was nice Beer was flowing :) fingerfood was A M A Z I N G! thats how you get my lovely attention -free drinks, food aaaand - a GIVEAWAY ;) (Oh come on! just saying the truth here!)
