All Eyes On.... PAM HOGG

I remember sitting in my room in my hometown Wels when i was about 14 years old and listening to "Siouxie and the Banshees" and looking them up in the internet - wish was more of a task as a pleasure at that time believe me. What cought my eye was the AMAZING crazy costumes Siouxie Sioux was wearing - thank god for credits - the dress was by PAM HOGG . Back then as now i was completely fascinated and attracted to/by independent strong women who frankly just don't give a fuck. So the combination of Siouxie Sioux and Pam Hogg was almost to good to be true ;) About Pam: Pam Hogg studied at the Glasgow School of Art, where she won the Newbury Medal of Distinction, the Frank Warner Memorial Medal, the Leverhulme Scholarship and the Royal Society of Arts Bursary, which subsequently took her on to further study at the Royal College of Art in London, where she gained her Masters of Art degree. Pam Hogg’s first catwalk show was with the collective ”Hyper Hyper’ in 1985....

All eyes on...

... ARTHUR ARBESSER i got to know Arthur - the energetic austrian fashion designer - last year together with Julia at the CAPSULE Tradeshow during Paris fashionweek. He was part of an italian showroom exhibiting there. They were all really unfriendly (except at the last day, i guess it was a cultural thing - i don't do cultural things) thats why it took a bit till Arthur -always being a bit shy- had the courage to walk over and talk to me. But the reason was another -he had seen pictures of me and his great friends Stefanie Herkner (she owns this fabulous little austrian restaurant which i will tell you more about next week! Gosh i have so many unpublished blogposts waiting for your). Anyhow - being Stefanis friend it came natural that we would be bffs from the start. Julia and i were so glad that we had him to chitchat with - for anyone amoung you who exhibited at a Trade-show you know why, it cant get boring! So as he showed me his collection i was fascina...

Pilot Pilotto

great! wonderful! detailed! awesome finish! so many words to describe what we think of Perter Pilottos collection for this Fall. For me Peter ist the best equivalent to name as an austrian designer. Contemporary that is. Presented a view days ago @London Fashion week. If you go to www.peterpilotto.com you can see for your self. We love how the webiste is designed to fit the whole screen and show the entire show in the background. The way the material flows! his prints are amazing. We specially love the pants and the tailored jackets! very graphic and structured. If you look close you can see the plait detail on the bottom of the trousers. Well what is there to say other than "thank you peter!" MB

Holy Holly

Well as you know we were not able to attend London Fashion week. BUT! all our friends could :( Anyhow. One of them is Dominik Geiger. He is a very talented photographer as you can see below and on his Blog! He was so kind and took some shots at the the Holly Fulton show which i loved as you know ;) Totally was to die for. Her prints just hit me everytime i see them. SO GLAD i´m not a woman ;) enjoy. This btw is Ilvie Wittek . Austrian Topmodel @ wienermodels MB

Teachers on the Runway

Looking at the current collection of J.W. Anderson we kinda had a déjà vu / flashback to our schooltimes. All of a sudden there was ms. Neumann, ms. Stanich, ms. Alt and ms. Granizki on the Runway in London. Who would have guessed that ;) MB
